Those of you who went to a little college an hour away from Columbus, two from Cleveland and three from Cincinnati might be interested in the following tidbits. Those of you who didn’t may look away.

In the aftermath of the NIU shootings, Kenyon is not changing their “no weapons on campus” policy. Despite the Dennis shooting last week (in Gambier, but not campus-related) I think what would be lost is greater than what is gained. The last quote brought out the Beavis in me: “Let’s depend on the people that have something in their pocket.” Uhh.. huh huh. . .

A very nice reminiscence from John Sherck ‘99 about his experiences in Chamber Singers. I’ll save mine for a different post, but it’s very nice how things stay the same. Though I don’t know how I feel about the expansion from 45 to 55 singers in the group. It was difficult enough to find enough tenors with the smaller group.
